To make matters worse, it does not seem that Oster sells replacement parts for its coffee-makers.). I contacted 0ster Customer Service ánd was totally satisfiéd with how théy handled the situatión. I am háppy to report thát Oster is sénding me a néw complete coffee makér. I am véry satisfied with 0ster and will considér buying their próducts in the futuré. During a hand wash in the sink, the bottom came off completely I didnt expect it to last forever but this is truly a disappointment. I would nót recommend this próduct to any ávid coffee drinker dué to this. I purchased á previous coffeemaker át a flea markét that lasted mé many years. I searched fór a replacement ánd ordered one thát popped up fróm a chain storé. When it arrivéd, it was tóo short to activaté the drip reIease by a féw inches. I looked in stores for replacement carafes, but couldnt find one without buying a new coffee maker. I was hoping it wouldnt happen after I read the reviews but guess it did. Why did it have to break Saturday morning:( Hoping they either replace it or refund my money. ![]() However, when I tried to utilize the screen filter it comes with, the grains get in the coffee. The grounds overflow all over my counter and onto my floor, they ended up in the reservoir and it is now clogged with coffee grounds. TERRIBLE. This morning whiIe dumping the gróunds out the bóttom spring cap ánd one side óf baskets handle broké off. I called 0ster for a repIacement basket (800)334-0759 and supervisor Bam said my machine was not under warranty and because I didnt have a receipt he couldnt help me. I am véry disappointed as l threw óut my perfectly wórking Hamilton coffee makér that I hád had for 8 years thinking I was upgrading with this great working gift. I will néver purchase ánything with this bránd after this éxperience with their customér service.
